Edinburgh Marathon Festival
The Edinburgh Marathon Festival is a multi-day running event held in the capital of Scotland. The program includes various distances spanning two days, featuring a route that passes through historic landmarks and the scenic East Lothian coastline. The marathon is noted for its fast course, while the half marathon follows a flat and fast path that starts at Potterrow and finishes in Musselburgh.
The Saturday events are centered around Holyrood Park, near Dynamic Earth. These routes offer panoramic views of the city and Edinburgh Castle. Participants in the half marathon receive a medal and a finisher's t-shirt upon completion. The festival atmosphere at the finish area is designed for runners to spend time with friends and family.
