Edge to Edge Marathon, Ucluelet, British Columbia
The Edge to Edge takes place in Ucluelet on the west coast of Vancouver Island and features multiple race formats that highlight the Wild Pacific Trail, a packed gravel coastal path through temperate rainforest.
The Half Marathon starts in Ucluelet, runs past the Harbour and Boat Basin and follows the Tofino-Ucluelet Highway to a turnaround near Millstream. Runners return toward Ucluelet on the Wild Pacific Trail, passing ocean views, rocky bluffs and rainforest before finishing at the Community Centre.
The 10 km course goes through Ucluelet, past the small craft harbour and onto the Wild Pacific Trail, continues past the Amphitrite Lighthouse and then returns to the Community Centre for the finish.
The 2026 Marathon course will make use of undulating sections of the Wild Pacific Trail and its ocean views. The event also notes strong volunteer support and lists three primary ways to take part: racing, volunteering or sponsoring. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
