Edge to Edge Marathon - Ucluelet, British Columbia
The Edge to Edge Marathon event takes place in Ucluelet on the west coast of Vancouver Island and uses sections of the Wild Pacific Trail, a packed gravel coastal path through temperate rainforest.
The event program includes multiple race distances and routes that run through town and along coastal trail sections with ocean views, rocky bluffs and rainforest. The half marathon course starts in Ucluelet, runs past the harbour and boat basin, follows the Tofino-Ucluelet Highway briefly, turns near Millstream and returns to town along the Wild Pacific Trail before finishing at the Community Centre. The 10 km course runs through Ucluelet, past the small craft harbour, continues onto the Wild Pacific Trail and passes the Amphitrite Lighthouse before returning to the Community Centre.
The 2026 marathon course will make use of the undulating Wild Pacific Trail and its ocean views. The event has an established volunteer program and involves community support.
