Event
The Eastwood 5-Mile Run is a five-mile road race held in Syracuse, New York. The 2026 edition is the 20th annual race. It is an in-person event with no virtual option. Registration is online only; no cash or paper registrations are accepted. Registration opens on March 1, 2026.
Course
The race starts in the Sunnycrest Ice Rink parking lot and finishes at the Sunnycrest Golf Clubhouse. The course goes through the Eastwood neighborhood's streets and includes hills. The route passes the East Woods Skate Park and finishes with a downhill sprint into the park.
Beneficiary
Proceeds from the race support two scholarships for local high school seniors, the Henninger High School cross-country program, and the Eastwood Neighborhood Association's community health and wellness programs.
Series Affiliation
