Eastlake Fun Run 5K + Pub & Grub Crawl
The event pairs a community fun run with a neighborhood pub and grub crawl in the Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle. It is organized by the City of Seattle Office of Economic Development and takes place around Fairview Ave E and the Cheshiahud Lake Union Loop.
The 5K Fun Run is free to participate in and is presented as a noncompetitive, untimed event. The course is an out-and-back route on sidewalks and trail sections, with a turnaround at E Boston St. The start and finish are at FRAM on Fairview Ave E. There are no street closures for the run, and runners and walkers of any pace use sidewalks and trails throughout the course.
After finishing, participants may check in at a tent to turn in a Runner’s Bib Voucher and receive gift cards from participating businesses. The first 125 participants to claim vouchers receive a $40 pack of gift cards redeemable at Otter Bar, The Zoo, Pecado Bueno, and Fram.
The Pub & Grub Crawl takes place across several Eastlake bars and restaurants. Attendance is in person, the event is listed as suitable for all ages, and the schedule covers a multihour neighborhood gathering that includes both the run and the post-run activities.
