Eastham Windmill Weekend Road Race
The event is a 5k road race held at First Encounter Beach in Eastham. The course runs from the beach along Samoset Road, loops near the Eastham Library, and returns to First Encounter Beach. The event is held in memory of two community members, and 50% of race proceeds will be donated to a foundation established in their honor.
Registration is available online only and will remain open until 7:00 AM on race day; in-person registration on the morning of the race is not offered. Bib pickup is available on the morning of the race and on the day before the race between 2:00 and 4:00 PM at the Eastham Windmill Green. Participants are asked to arrive at least one hour before the event to check in and prepare.
General Race Entry includes free beach parking, race entry, professional race timing, and a t-shirt for the first 75 registrants. Prizes will be awarded to first place winners in each age group. Entry fees are tiered by age: under 3 free; ages 3 to 12 $20; ages 12 to 70 $25; ages 70 and over $20. The race proceeds rain or shine.
Sponsorships of $100 or more are eligible for additional recognition, including name or business logo on the official race t-shirt and recognition on the event website; logo placement depends on the sponsorship deadline and available space.
