Eastham Windmill Weekend Road Race - 2026
The Eastham Windmill Weekend Road Race is an annual community running event held in Eastham, Massachusetts on September 13, 2026. The event gathers runners, walkers, families, volunteers, and neighbors for a community-focused day.
The event features a scenic 5K course that starts at First Encounter Beach, follows the rolling hills of Samoset Road, passes the Eastham Library, and returns to First Encounter Beach. The race is professionally timed and awards are presented to the overall 1st place male and female finishers and to 1st place winners in each age group.
The event is dedicated in memory of two Eastham neighbors, and fifty percent of race proceeds will be donated to a foundation in their honor. General race entry includes free beach parking, race entry, professional race timing, and an official race t-shirt for the first 75 registered participants. T-shirt size is guaranteed for participants who register by August 1.
Registration opens on June 1 and remains open until the morning of race day. Bib pickup and registration are offered the day prior at the Eastham Windmill Green from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, and bib pickup will also be available the morning of the race. Registration will not be offered in person on race morning. Parking is available at the First Encounter Beach Lot and the Bee’s River Lot but is limited. The event is held rain or shine.
