5K Fun Run at Eastern Market Brewing Co.
The event is an untimed 5K fun run held at Eastern Market Brewing Co., 2515 Riopelle Street, Detroit, MI, on June 6, 2026. It is part of the 2026 Michigan Brewery Running Series and begins and ends at the brewery taproom on a clearly marked route through the surrounding neighborhood.
Registration includes one craft brew from Eastern Market with a nonalcoholic option available, a choice of series swag (collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item), and entry into a prize drawing. Post run activities include music, games, giveaways and partner offerings. Ten percent of event proceeds support local Michigan nonprofits.
The course is an open course with roads not closed to traffic; participants must follow all traffic laws. The event is rain or shine; if conditions are unsafe for running the gathering at the taproom will continue. Participants should bring ID for alcohol access; those under 21 will receive a nonalcoholic beverage. Dogs and strollers are allowed with care subject to brewery policies. There is no bag check.
