Event overview
The Easter Sun Run 2025 is the 31st annual run held in Wichita, Kansas. The event takes place in April at Sedgwick County Park, 6501 W 21st Street N, Wichita, KS 67205. It includes race and community options that aim to raise funds for Youth Horizons, a nonprofit that supports mentoring, residential care, and advocacy programs for local youth and families.

Awards and teams
Cash awards are given to top finishers in the 10K and the 2-mile event for male and female categories. Master's (ages 40-59) and Senior Grand Master (60+) awards are listed. Medals and certificates are awarded for top three male and female finishers by age category. Team prizes include trophies for fastest team, largest team, largest church team, and best team spirit. Teams of 10 or more receive a $10 discount per participant once the 10th team member registers; teams that register before March 28 have their team name printed on race shirts and may receive custom team shirts.
Race day services and packet pickup
An Easter Family Fun Zone is planned with an egg hunt, inflatables, yard games, cotton candy, popcorn, and a free BBQ lunch offering hamburgers, hot dogs, and baked beans. Packet pickup is listed at 125 S. Washington, Suite 200 on Wednesday, April 16 (12 - 6 p.m.), Thursday, April 17 (8 a.m. - 6 p.m.), and Friday, April 18 (8 a.m. - 1 p.m.).
