East End Sizzler 10K/5K : Stride to End Childhood Cancer
The East End Sizzler is the 17th annual running event presented by the Little Rock South Lions Club in East End, Arkansas. It takes place on September 19, 2026, at 20422 N Springlake Rd, East End, AR 72065. Proceeds benefit childhood cancer causes.
The event offers multiple race options:
- 10K (6.21 Miles) in-person
- 5K (3.1 Miles) run or walk
- 10K (6.21 Miles) virtual option
Races are chip timed and the course time limit is two hours. Awards are given to the top three males and top three females in each age category for both the 5K and the 10K. Age categories are 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
Registration fees listed for the events are $30 for the in-person 10K, $20 for the 5K, and $40 for the virtual 10K. The t-shirt deadline is September 5, 2026; shirts are distributed first-come, first-served after that date if supplies remain.
Funds raised in 2026 supported the Ronald McDonald House for family snacks and the Brooklyn Project Foundation, which funds the Innovative Therapies Program at Arkansas Children’s Hospital to advance pediatric cancer research and care.
