East Canyon Triathlon
The East Canyon Triathlon takes place in Morgan, Utah, beginning at East Canyon Reservoir. The event is a point to point race with two transition areas. Two race distances are offered:
- Sprint distance
- Olympic distance
The Sprint bike course is downhill and described as fast; participants are asked to stay safe and in control on descents. The Olympic bike course includes two short climbs near mile 1 and mile 11, followed by a fast descent into Morgan City. Both distances include a run that follows the Weber River and passes through local neighborhoods.
A VIP package is available that delivers race packet and bib to a participant's home. Annual USAT members must have their ID and USAT card available at the scheduled delivery. VIP participants still need to visit the VIP line on race morning to pick up their timing chip. The VIP option has a cutoff two weeks prior to the race date.
