East Canyon Triathlon
The East Canyon Triathlon is scheduled for August 8, 2026 in Morgan, Utah. The event begins at East Canyon Reservoir and follows a point-to-point course that reaches Morgan and Morgan City Main Street.
This is a two-transition, point to point triathlon that offers two distance options:
- Sprint distance: downhill and fast bike course.
- Olympic distance: longer bike course with climbs.
The Sprint bike course is described as downhill and fast. The Olympic bike course includes two short climbs at mile 1 and mile 11 followed by a fast descent into Morgan City. Both distances include a run along the Weber River and through local neighborhoods.
A VIP package is offered that delivers packet and race bib to participants' homes. Annual USAT members using the delivery must have their USAT ID and card available at the scheduled delivery. Participants who use the VIP delivery still use the VIP line on race morning to receive their timing chip. VIP registration closes two weeks before the event.
