East Brady River Run
The East Brady River Run takes place in East Brady, Pennsylvania, featuring a course set along the Allegheny River. The event begins at the PFBC Brady's Bend Boat Launch located on Seybertown Road. Participants follow a flat route that highlights the riverfront scenery of the local community.
The event offers two distinct distances:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Walk
The 5K Run is a chip-timed event managed by Runner's High. The 1 Mile Walk is an untimed activity. The event serves as a benefit for the Bill Markel Memorial Scholarship, which provides educational funding for local students in memory of Bill Markel.
Participants who register by September 5th are guaranteed a race shirt. For those registering after this date, a limited quantity of shirts in select sizes will be available for purchase on the day of the event. Children aged four and under can participate at no cost.
