Earth Day 5K - Bel Air
The 5th Annual Blue Cheetah Earth Day 5K is an eco-friendly running and walking event held on the Ma & Pa Heritage Trail at the Williams Street entrance in Bel Air, Maryland. The event features in-person and virtual options and emphasizes sustainable race items.
Participants can choose from these distances:
- 3.11 Miles In-person 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
- 3.11 Miles Virtual 5K (packet shipping included for virtual entries)
Registration opens on 2026-09-01 and closes on 2027-03-31. Pricing is tiered: through 2027-02-28 the fees are $25 for the 5K, $20 for the 1-mile, and $30 for the virtual 5K; beginning 2027-03-01 fees increase to $30 for the 5K, $25 for the 1-mile, and $35 for the virtual 5K. Packet mail-outs are available for an additional $5.00.
All participants receive a sustainable finisher medal made from environmentally friendly materials and a plant to take home. Event parking is available at the Liriodendron Mansion lower lot using the W. Broadway entrance. The race is professionally timed and managed by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing, LLC.
