Earth Day 5K takes place on April 22, 2026, in Bel Air, Maryland. The event is held at the Ma & Pa Heritage Trail, Williams Street entrance. It offers the following options:
- 5K Run or Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- Virtual 5K
All participants receive a finishers medal made from sustainable materials and a plant. The virtual option includes packet shipping.
Logistics
The race is professionally timed and managed by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing, LLC. Parking is in the lower lot of the Liriodendron Mansion - use the West Broadway entrance - and participants should walk approximately 1/3 mile to the race start. Race day packet pickup will be available on-site; early packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, April 17, at Charm City Run in Bel Air from 3:30 to 7:00 pm. Packet mailouts are available for an additional fee of $5. Registration fees apply and prices increase after March 31, 2026. Sponsors and water partners are listed for the event.
