Early Bird Triathlon & Duathlon : event overview

The Early Bird Triathlon & Duathlon takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Carleton University, 125 Colonel By Dr, Ottawa, ON. The event uses Colonel By Drive for the bike and run courses, with views of the Rideau Canal, Dows Lake and Lansdowne. Swim segments are held indoors in a 50 m pool at Carleton University; the event is described as the only in-pool triathlon in the region. Bike and run courses are closed to traffic. Bib pickup is scheduled at Carleton University in parking lot P7 on the day before the race and on race day. Refunds are available only if cancellation insurance is purchased.

Registration includes professional timing, a personalized bib, a swim cap, race photography, on-course nutrition, post-race snacks and massages, podium prizes for top three male, female and non-binary finishers, and optional finisher medals.
