EAPL Zombie Run 5K
The EAPL Zombie Run 5K is the 12th annual fundraising run for the Evergreen Animal Protective League held in Evergreen, Colorado. The course begins and ends at the Buchanan Recreation Center Ball Fields and follows walking trails through the Bergen Park area.
The event offers individual entries and a 4-pack entry for the same 5K distance. Registration pricing includes an early online rate, a reduced fee for children 12 and under that includes a t-shirt, and a higher fee for race day registration. A separate donation option is available to benefit the Evergreen Animal Protective League.
Post-race activities include refreshments, music, and a costume contest that accepts entries for both runners and pets. Day-of registration and race packet pickup are available at the event. Additional parking is provided at the RTD lot located at 1287 County Highway 65, on the corner of Hwy 74 and County Road 65.
Organizers note that participation during the COVID19 global pandemic could carry a risk of exposure; participants accept that risk. A course map is provided for the route through Bergen Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
