EAGLE'S BACKYARD ULTRA : Victoriaville
First edition on May 22, 2026 at Réservoir Beaudet, 47 Rue Garand, Victoriaville QC. The event follows the Backyard Ultra format: runners complete a 6.7 km loop every hour and continue until they fail to finish a loop within the hour or choose not to start the next one. The winner is the last runner to complete a loop when all others have stopped or failed.
Rules require each loop to be finished in under 60 minutes. Each participant may designate up to three crew members for the entire event; crew must be identified before the race begins. No assistance is allowed once a runner has started a loop. After finishing a loop, runners may go to their reserved rest area for aid from their crew. Spectators are not allowed in the rest area but may encourage runners on the course.
The course has under 30 m of positive elevation gain per loop and runs along Réservoir Beaudet. Each participant has a reserved space in the rest area and must bring their own shelter equivalent to a 10x10 and all necessary gear and supplies for the duration of the event.
