Overview

The Eagle Strut is a 5K race and walk organized by the senior class of Franklin County High School in Rocky Mount, Virginia. The 2026 edition will be the 16th annual event. The course takes participants through the town of Rocky Mount.

Event Details

The event takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Registration opens on March 1, 2026. The registration fee is $25, and no refunds are offered. Race-day registration is available online through the registration platform. A race shirt is included, but shirt size is only guaranteed for registrations completed before August 14.

Packet pickup is scheduled for the morning of the race. Participants should park in the Law parking lot, located between the high school and a local restaurant, the Rocky Mount Smokehouse.

Supporting the Community
