Event Overview
The Bendix Eagle Run is a community running event held on May 23, 2026, at Avon High School in Avon, Ohio. It is the 24th edition of the run, with proceeds benefiting the Avon Schools Educational Endowment Fund, the French Creek Family YMCA, and other local charities.
Distances
The event features three separate races:
- A 5-Mile Run
- A 5K Run/Walk
- A 1-Mile Kids Fun Run for participants aged 13 and under.
Registration and Pricing
Registration has multiple pricing tiers. An early bird rate of $25 for the 5-Mile and 5K events is available until February 8, 2026, after which the price increases. The Kids Run is $15. The first 1000 paid adult entrants are guaranteed a long-sleeve technical shirt, subject to availability. Participants in the Kids Run receive a short-sleeve t-shirt.
Awards
In the 5-Mile and 5K events, medals are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three males and females in multiple age divisions, ranging from 14 & under to 80 & over.
Event Amenities
