Eagle Chase Fire on the River 2026
The event on July 4, 2026 takes place in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin at Sauk City Riverfront Park. It includes the following races:
- Eagle Chase 5K Run/Walk
- Eagle Chase 10K
- Eagle Chase 1/2 Marathon
All races start on the Great Sauk Bike Trail near the entrance to Sauk City Riverfront Park and finish behind the Police Station on Riviera Street. All races will have a gun start.
Packet pickup is scheduled in two sessions: Friday, July 3 under the pavilion at Sauk City Riverfront Park, 236 Water St; and the morning of the event at 236 Water St, Sauk City. Specific pickup times are listed by the organizer.
Participants are offered a free breakfast. Awards include finisher medals for all half marathon participants, trophies for top overall finishers, and medals for first place in each age group across the races.
There is limited parking at Riverfront Park near the start line and additional parking at Jaycee Park, 305 Hemlock St, Sauk City. Course maps are provided for the 5K, 10K and half marathon routes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
