Dyngus Day Dash - Buffalo, NY
The Dyngus Day Dash is a 5K run held in Buffalo, New York as part of the Dyngus Day USA celebration and parade in the historic Polonia neighborhood. The race uses a two-loop clockwise course that starts near the intersection of Memorial Drive and Houghton Street and finishes at Memorial Circle near Paderewski and Memorial Drive.
Online registration (credit card) remains open until the race. Race day registration and packet pickup take place at Memorial Park near the finish line. Participants who register by Friday, March 27 are guaranteed an official event shirt in their requested size while supplies last. The published registration fee is $35, increasing to $40 after April 1, 2026.
Post-race activities are held at the Pussy Willow Park Mainstage a short walk from the finish. Bottled water will be available at the finish line and the post-race party will include a signature beer (21 and older with ID), hot dogs, fruit, and yogurt. Trophies are presented to the first place overall male and female finishers, and age group gifts are awarded. Age groups include 10 and under, 11-13, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and older.
Professional RFID timing and finish line services are provided, with real-time results and downloadable finisher certificates available after the race. The event has a no-refund policy and organizers reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, or offer a virtual alternative for reasons such as foul weather or public safety concerns.
