DYCW 8th Annual 5K Walk for Diabetes 2026
The Diabetes You Can Win Foundation, a Georgia based 501(c)(3), and partner Live Healthy Gwinnett present a community 5K walk at Tribble Mill Park in Lawrenceville, Georgia on November 7, 2026. The event features a scenic 5K walk, free health screenings, educational resources, and family activities.
Registration is free. Registration opens June 10, 2026 and closes November 6, 2026. The organizer offers an event shirt for a $30 donation, and participants may wear their own team shirts. A free coffee truck and healthy snacks are available on site.
Proceeds and program funding remain local to Georgia. Programs supported include free health screenings, nutrition and diabetes classes, diabetes prevention programs, gestational diabetes education, and distribution of diabetic supplies to under resourced communities.
