DV Turkey Trot 5K
The DV Turkey Trot is a community running event that raises support for the DV Cross Country Team and a local food pantry. The event takes place at Delaware Valley High School on November 21, 2026 and uses the school's cross country course with a track finish.
The event includes these distances:
- 5K run/walk
- 1 Mile run
Packet pickup is organized before the event and participants are asked to bring canned food items to packet pickup to support the food pantry. Entry fees vary by registration date; earlier registration includes a guaranteed T-shirt while later registration does not guarantee a T-shirt.
Timing is provided with chip timing, and indoor facilities are available. Awards include an overall male and female frozen turkey and unique awards for male and female age group winners. Age group categories begin at 10 and under and continue through 80 plus.
