Duval Dam Buster Trail Run
The Duval Dam Buster is a trail running event held a few kilometres outside Armidale in the New England High Country, New South Wales. The event is scheduled for Sunday 20 September 2026 and starts at about 1000 m above sea level near Dumaresq Dam and Mt Duval.
Courses start from a marshalling area at the Dumaresq Dam picnic area and then diverge. The longer courses include significant uphill and downhill sections; the 16 km, 28 km and 50 km routes go up and then return down and around. The event is hosted by Armidale Athletics Club and has been run since 2018. Sponsors support the event annually, with New England Locksmiths listed as the major Diamond sponsor for 2026.
The event is AURA listed. The 50 km Hendo Hustle is ITRA listed and awards 1 ITRA point to participants. The 28 km route is under evaluation by ITRA. Results are recorded across event years.
