About the race
Dawn Two Dusk, organized by Mad Running Junkies, is a 12-hour night-to-dawn endurance event staged at Bridgend Miniature Railway in Bridgend, South Wales (Fountain Road, Aberkenfig, Tondu). The format features three roughly 10-mile loop routes that participants can complete as many times as possible within the 12-hour window, starting at dusk and finishing at dawn. The course is a mixed-terrain challenge with hills, mostly off-road forestry trails, minimal road sections, and potential mud; it’s fully flagged with glow sticks and, where possible, a GPX route.
The event emphasizes a friendly atmosphere with volunteers, a base camp, loop stamping, medals, swag, hot/cold drinks, and on-site medical support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
