Durban Ultra Triathlon 2027 : event overview
The Durban Ultra Triathlon takes place on 7 March 2027 at Country Club Beach, Durban Beach, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The event offers individual and team classes with relay teams composed of two to three participants. The cycle route will have a full road closure.
Three primary distances are available:
- Sprint: 750 m ocean swim; 20 km cycle; 5 km run. Minimum age 16 years.
- Standard: 1.5 km ocean swim; 40 km cycle; 10 km run. Minimum age 17 years.
- Ultra / Aquabike: 2 km ocean swim; 80 km cycle; 18 km run. Minimum age 18 years.
Entries are offered in tiered pricing windows: early bird, standard, and late. Early bird and standard entries include a race goodie bag and technical race apparel; late entries do not include these items. Temporary Triathlon South Africa day licence fees apply for participants who require them.
