Durban Ultra Triathlon 2027
The Durban Ultra Triathlon takes place on 7 March 2027 at Country Club Beach, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The event is organised by DELTA SPORT and offers multiple distance options, individual and team entries, and temporary Triathlon South Africa day licences where required.
Distances offered include:
- Sprint: 750m ocean swim / 20km cycle / 5km run (Min age 16)
- Standard: 1.5km ocean swim / 40km cycle / 10km run (Min age 17)
- Ultra: 2km ocean swim / 80km cycle / 18km run (Min age 18). Aquabike option is listed.
Some classes allow team entries of two to three participants. The cycle route will have a full road closure. Entry periods and pricing are organised in tiers: early bird, standard, and late entry windows with different fees and inclusions.
Early bird and standard entries include a goodie bag and technical race apparel; sprint entries receive socks and standard and ultra entries include a backpack, while late entries do not include goodie bags or apparel.
