About the race
Durban Dash takes place on 16 December 2026 at Kings Park Athletics Stadium in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The event offers two road-running distances and sets minimum ages for entry.
Distances:
- 15 km Run : Minimum age 15 years.
- 5 km Run : Minimum age 9 years.
Entry fees differ by entry period. Early bird and standard fees apply, with late entries available at on-site registration. Early bird entries close on 4 November; standard entries run from 5 November until 10 December. No day licence is needed. The event is not KZNA sanctioned.
The first 200 paid entrants receive a free cotton race T-shirt. Medals are awarded to all finishers. The race will be timed and results processed by Split Timing. Prize money and prizes total R10 000. Route maps are available for both the 5 km and 15 km courses.
