Pick n Pay Durban Sunrise Run 2026
The Pick n Pay Durban Sunrise Run 2026 takes place on 26 September at the Amphitheatre on the Durban Beachfront. The event is an official KZN Athletics sanctioned road race and serves as a Comrades Marathon qualifier for 2027.
Race distances:
- 10 km (minimum age 14 years)
- 21 km (minimum age 16 years)
- 42 km (two laps, minimum age 20 years)
The event is hosted by DHS Old Boys in partnership with B-Active Events and sponsored by Pick n Pay. A prize pool of R25 000 is allocated across distances and age categories. Top prizes for the overall winners include R2 600 for first place in the 42 km, R1 400 for first place in the 21 km, and R750 for first place in the 10 km.
Entry fees vary by distance and booking period. Early bird, standard, and late entry windows are specified with corresponding fees for each distance. On-site registration is scheduled at a registration venue the day before the race: Southern Sun Garden Court, Snell Parade, on Friday 25 September from 10:00 to 17:00.
