Pick n Pay Durban Sunrise Run 2026
The Pick n Pay Durban Sunrise Run is scheduled for 26 September 2026 at the Amphitheatre on the Durban beachfront, 41 Snell Parade, North Beach, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The event features multiple road race distances and a revised route with the Amphitheatre as the start venue.

The 42 km event is a Comrades Marathon qualifier for 2027, the 100th running of the Comrades Marathon. The event is officially sanctioned by KZN Athletics and carries a total prize purse of R25 000. Top prizes include up to R2 600 for 42 km winners, and smaller prizes for 21 km and 10 km categories, with age-group awards across several masters categories.
The event lists Pick n Pay as title sponsor and names DHS Old Boys as host club in partnership with B-Active Events. Registration is available in person at the Southern Sun Garden Court on Friday 25 September; online entries are offered through the event timing and entry platform. The first 2 000 paid entries receive a Pick n Pay goodie bag and a pair of custom race sox. Prize giving is scheduled on the main stage on race day.
