Dunstable Road Runners 5 mile Race

The Dunstable Road Runners 5 mile Race is a road running event held in Dunstable. The event is conducted under UK Athletic rules with a course measurement accuracy certificate. The route consists of roads and pavements, featuring some temporary road closures and supervised road crossings. Due to these traffic management requirements, a 90-minute time limit is in place for all participants.

The event follows a single distance:

The race headquarters are located at the Creasey Park Community Football Centre, which provides participants with access to toilets, changing facilities, and a supervised baggage area. Parking is available at the site. The course includes clear signage, marshals at various points, and medical provision. There is a drinks station positioned on the course as well as at the finish line.

This event also incorporates the AAA Beds County Championship 5-mile event. Eligibility for the championship requires participants to have been born in Bedfordshire or to have been a resident in the county for at least nine months prior to the race. Registration is open to individuals aged 16 and over. All finishers receive a medal, and trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, as well as winners of veteran age categories.
