Easter Monday 5km - Dundalk

The Easter Monday 5K takes place on Monday, 6 April 2026, at Dundalk Gaels GFC (The Ramparts) in Dundalk. The event is organised in association with Dundalk Gaels GFC and North East Runners A.C.

The course is a flat 5K and the race is chip timed. The event is AAI permitted; permit number 26/23 is listed. The route is described as suitable for runners, walkers, children and participants with buggies.

Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed male and female finishers, and for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed male and female juvenile finishers. There is a prize for the first Dundalk Gaels underage competitor and a prize for the course record. T-shirts will be provided to the first 250 registered entrants subject to available sizes.
