Event overview
Dugan's Run takes place in Ocean Shores, WA on Sunday, March 22, 2026. The event is organized from Dugan's Pizza at 690 Ocean Shores Blvd NW. A portion of the course runs on the beach. Races are held in rain or shine and the course is marked with officials and signage. Races occur in the following order: Kid's Dash, Youth Mile, then the 5K. An awards ceremony is held at Dugan's Pizza after the races conclude.
Distances and entry
- Kids Dash - open to ages 10 and under, free registration.
- Youth Mile - open to ages 12 and under, $20 registration.
- 5K - open to all ages, $30 registration.
Participants who wish to compete in more than one race must register separately for each event. Children may non-competitively run the 5K when accompanied by an adult. Leashed four-legged companions are permitted.
Registration, shirts, and proceeds
Online registration runs from 12/01/2025 to 03/20/2026. Registrants should register by February 20 to guarantee T-shirt size. Youth Mile and 5K registrants are eligible for a free Dugan's Run T-shirt; Kids Dash shirts are available for purchase at check-in while supplies last. In-person bib pick-up and registration are available at Dugan's Pizza the day before and the morning of the event. Proceeds and donations benefit the North Beach Booster Club, which provides equipment, camp support, and scholarships to local students.
