Event overview
Dugan's Run is an annual fun run hosted by Dugan's Pizza in Ocean Shores, Washington. The event has been held since 1985 and includes a course that runs partly on the beach. Races are held rain or shine. Proceeds and donations benefit the North Beach Booster Club, which supports North Beach Schools with equipment, camps, activities, and two annual scholarships for seniors.
Events and registration
The event includes the following races: Kids Dash (open to ages 10 and under), Youth Mile (open to ages 12 and under, one mile), and 5K (open to all ages). Entry fees listed are $0 for the Kids Dash, $20 for the Youth Mile, and $30 for the 5K. Youth Mile and 5K registrants receive a Dugan's Run T-shirt; a T-shirt is available for the Kids Dash for $15. Participants must be registered in the race for their age group. Children may run non-competitively in the 5K with an adult. If a child will compete in more than one race, they must be registered for each race separately. Online registration is open from December 1, 2025 through March 20, 2026. In-person registration and bib pick-up are held the day before and on race day at Dugan's Pizza.
