Event Overview
The Duff Dog Backyard Ultra is a "last runner standing" event. It will take place at Blue Mounds State Park near Luverne, Minnesota.
Course Details
The event uses a 4-mile, 880-foot trail loop (approximately 6.7 kilometers) within the park. The course consists of 95% grass, with some gravel and a short paved section. The loop starts precisely every hour.
Event Format and Rules
This is a Backyard Ultra format. Runners must begin each new loop on the hour. To continue, a runner must complete the loop within one hour. The winner is the last person to complete a loop. The event is open-ended, meaning it continues until only one runner remains. Competitors cannot receive personal aid during a loop and cannot leave the course except for restroom breaks.
Facilities
