Dublin Simon Community Home Run 5K Run and Family Day Out : 3 October 2026, Phoenix Park
The Home Run is a community 5-kilometre loop held in Phoenix Park on 3 October 2026. The route is described as open to all ages and abilities and has previously included schools, walking groups, wheelchair users, families with buggies, and competitive runners.
Participants are encouraged to fundraise for Dublin Simon Community. Raising at least €50 earns a limited-edition Home Run T-shirt, and a €100 target is suggested; donations support the charity’s emergency response, wraparound services and long-term housing work. The Home Run began in 1983 and has raised funds for these services since then.
