Dublin Simon Community Home Run 5K "Run & Family Day Out" - 3 October 2026, Phoenix Park, Dublin
The event is a 5 kilometre loop held in Phoenix Park in Dublin on 3 October 2026. The course is described as open to all ages and abilities, with previous participants including schools, walking groups, wheelchair users, families with buggies, and elite runners. Family and friends are encouraged to watch and cheer along the route.
Participants are encouraged to begin fundraising early. Raising at least €50 earns a limited edition Home Run T-shirt; a suggested fundraising goal is €100. All donations support Dublin Simon Community’s life-saving services. Since 1983 the Home Run has raised funds for emergency response, wraparound services and long-term housing solutions.
Ticket options include an early-bird individual entry with race pack and postage included, an early-bird family of four option for children under 16 with race packs and postage included, and an early-bird corporate entry which includes a race pack and postage. There is also a register interest option for corporate sponsorship, with tiered sponsorship arrangements available through the organiser.
