About the race
The Irish Life Dublin Marathon is scheduled for Sunday 25 October 2026 and marks the 45th edition of the event. The programme includes the full marathon and a series of preparatory road races held earlier in the year.
The race series for 2026 lists:
- 10 km Irish Life Fingal 10K on 12 July
- 10 mile Irish Life Frank Duffy 10 Mile on 15 August
- Half marathon Irish Life Dublin Half Marathon on 20 September in Phoenix Park
The event records substantial charity fundraising. In 2026 participants and supporters have raised over 2.5 million via an official fundraising platform, and the event lists more than 150 Irish and international charity partners. The half marathon was reported as sold out and brings together more than 8,000 runners.
Event administration notes include that marathon wave assignments for 2026 are sent by email in late September. Title sponsorship is provided by Irish Life, and the series names several premium partners and official suppliers.
