About the race
The Irish Life Dublin Marathon is an annual marathon organised by the Dublin Marathon Group, a not for profit organisation. The 2026 marathon takes place on 25 October 2026 and includes the Irish National Marathon Championships within the event. The organisers run a race series in the build up to marathon day that in 2026 comprises three road races:
- Irish Life Fingal 10K on 12 July
- Irish Life Frank Duffy 10 Mile on 15 August
- Irish Life Dublin Half Marathon on 20 September
The 2026 series events are reported as sold out. The event places an emphasis on charity fundraising; by 2026 participants and supporters had raised over 1.5 million and more than 150 Irish and international charities are officially partnered. The Dublin Marathon Group describes Marathon Mission as a programme to support endurance athletes and domestic marathon competition. The event lists a title sponsor and multiple official partners and suppliers.
