Dublin Half Marathon
The Dublin Half Marathon is a road race held in Phoenix Park and through Dublin’s notable streets and landmarks. The course features a mix of flat sections and climbs and follows the route shown on the event map. The event takes place on Sunday 20 September.
Race numbers are posted about ten days before the event and include a timing chip attached to the back. The chip must remain on the race number for timing; replacing a lost number costs €10. Baggage labels are printed on the race number and participants who leave items in the baggage area do so at their own risk. Pins for attaching numbers will be available at the start.
Transfers are allowed only during the official transfer window, which opens on 22 July and closes on 23 August. A €5 fee is charged to the person receiving the entry. Transfers cannot be made outside this window, cannot be moved to the following year or another event, and a transferred ticket cannot be transferred again. Selling or attempting to swap numbers will result in cancellation.
On-course and venue facilities include toilets near the start, a bike park close to the start area, and shuttle buses linking Parkgate Street and the Phoenix Monument before and after the races. Pacers will be provided for a range of target times. There is a course cut-off time of 3 hours 15 minutes. At the finish, participants receive a medal, a race t-shirt, and a goodie bag; the t-shirt cannot be replaced if lost. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
