Drumheller Wild Rose Women's Walk/Run
The event takes place on May 31, 2026 at Drumheller Aquaplex. It is open to women and girls ages 6 and up.
The route is 5 km and follows the run portion of the Wild Rose Women's triathlon. The course is an out and back of 2.5 km to the turnaround. Surfaces include pathway, pavement and gravel. There is an aid station with water at the turnaround. Participants may walk, run, jog or combine these options. The event is not timed, though participants may use a personal watch to record their time. Bib numbers must be worn on the front during the run.
Included for participants are a race bib, a Wild Rose Women's Events headband and a finisher's medal. The event features music, a marked finish area and post-race food including a chocolate fondue. Wild Rose gear will be available for purchase on site and through registration. The 2026 Drumheller medal is produced by a Canadian and women owned business.
