Drumheller Wild Rose Women's Walk/Run - May 30, 2027
The Drumheller Wild Rose Women's Walk/Run is open to women and girls ages 6 and up. The route is a 5 km out-and-back, 2.5 km each way along a pathway. Surfaces include pathway, pavement and gravel; the course matches the run portion of the Wild Rose Women's Triathlon.
The event is not officially timed, though participants may use a personal watch if they want an official time. There will be an aid station with water at the turnaround. Bib numbers must be worn on the front.
Each participant receives a Wild Rose Women's Run bib, a headband and a finisher's medal. Post-race food is provided, including a chocolate fondue. Wild Rose Women's Events merchandise will be available for purchase through registration and on site.
The registration policy states there are no refunds. Before May 1, 2027 registrations can be rolled over to 2028 for a fee of 50 CAD or rolled over to the Calgary Walk/Run at no charge; entries may be transferred to another racer for a fee of 20 CAD. After May 1 rollovers are not available, but transfers for 20 CAD are permitted. Lost and found is located at the announcer's booth near the finish; unclaimed items are donated after 30 days.
