Drink'n with Lincoln 5K Run/Walk
The event is a 5K run/walk taking place in downtown Petersburg, Illinois, at East Douglas and 7th Street. The distance is 5K (3.1 miles) and the format is a community road race open to runners and walkers.
Registration pricing varies by date: early-bird pricing is $35 through April 19, pricing increases after May 17 to $45, and on the event day the fee is $50. Online pre-registration closes on June 5 at 2 p.m. Pre-race packet pickup is available Friday, June 5 between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. and the morning of the event from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. at Hand of Fate Brewery. On-site registration is offered during those pickup times; cash or check only for on-site registration, no credit cards.
Registration includes entry to the downtown Street Fest, a 5K T-shirt, one drink ticket, and a sports bag with local promotional items. Medals are presented to the top 200 finishers. An awards ceremony in the event tent will recognize the top three finishers in each age category for male and female participants.
The Street Fest runs in the downtown square until 4:00 p.m., featuring food and drink from local restaurants, bars, and vendors, and a lineup of live music. A $5 entry applies for non-race participants attending the festival. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
