Event Overview
The Dream Big 5k is the third annual edition of this community running event. It takes place on the campus of Victor Valley College in Victorville, California.
Distances
The event features two separate runs:
- Dream Big 5k
- Dream Big Mini K - For children ages 12 and under only.
Course & Logistics
The 5k course follows the scenic paths on the Victor Valley College campus. The start and finish line for both events is located inside the campus's new football stadium. Participants should use Mojave Fish Hatchery Road to access the campus. Free parking is available in designated campus lots.
Post-Race and Activities
An awards ceremony for the top three 5k finishers is held inside the stadium. Following the main event, activities continue with music and local vendors. The Dream Big Mini K for children starts after the 5k awards. The first 50 registered children in the Mini K receive a special finisher medal.
Organizer and Purpose
The event is organized by the Kiwanis Club of Victorville. Proceeds from the event support the club's charitable programs and scholarships for youth in the Victor Valley community. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
