DRC Rock Springs Ramble : Decatur, IL
The Decatur Running Club sponsors an in-person and virtual running event held on June 6, 2026, at 3939 Nearing Lane, Decatur, Illinois. The start and finish are located at the east parking lot on the trail. The paved course is an out-and-back and includes a water station along the route. The in-person 5K is hand timed (NO BIB) by the Decatur Running Club.

Registration opens January 5 and closes June 3. Listed registration fees are $35 for the 5K and virtual 5K, and $10 for the Kid's Ramble. Race day registration is available. No refunds.
All in-person participants receive a finisher medal and a hand painted rock. All Kid's Ramble participants receive a finisher's award. Age-group awards for the 5K begin at 10 and under, then continue in five-year increments up to 75 and over. Race T-shirts are available for additional purchase; shirts are 50/50 fabric.
Proceeds support club events and youth running programs in the Decatur area. A post-race party and award presentation follow the event, and Athletico is available for post-race stretching. By attending, participants consent to use of their images in Decatur Running Club and Rock Springs Ramble marketing, social media, and publications.
