DRC Rock Springs Ramble
The Decatur Running Club presents a running event at 3939 Nearing Lane, Decatur, Illinois. The event includes an in-person timed 5K, a kids 440-yard ramble for ages 10 and under, and a virtual 5K option. The start and finish are located at the east parking lot on the trail.
The course is paved and laid out as an out-and-back. A water station is available along the course. Timing for the in-person 5K is hand timed and no bibs are used.
Proceeds support club events and youth running programs in the Decatur area. All in-person participants receive a finisher medal and a hand-painted rock. Age group awards for the 5K begin at 10 and under, then continue in five-year increments up to 75 and over. Race T-shirts are available for additional purchase and are 50/50 fabric. All participants in the Kid's Ramble receive a finisher award.
A post race party and award presentation follow the event. Race day registration is available. There are no refunds. By attending, participants consent to image use in Decatur Running Club and Rock Springs Ramble marketing, social media and publications.
