Race Details
The Decatur Running Club sponsors the event. The timed 5K is held on a paved out-and-back course that starts and finishes at an east parking lot on a trail. A water station is provided on the course. The race uses hand timing and does not require a bib.
The KIDS Ramble is for participants aged 10 and under. All participants in this event receive a finisher's award.
Participant Perks
All participants in the main 5K receive a finisher medal and a hand-painted rock. Age group awards are given in categories starting from 10 and under, then in 5-year increments up to 75 and over. Race T-shirts are available for separate purchase and are made of a 50/50 fabric blend.
Other Information
Proceeds from the event are used to fund club activities and support youth running programs in the Decatur area. A post-race party and award presentation are held after the event.
