Dragon Dash 5K, Lake Orion
The Dragon Dash is an annual 5K road race that uses a certified course beginning and ending at the Wildwood Amphitheater, 2700 Joslyn Ct, Lake Orion, MI 48360. The route follows the Polly Ann Trail north in an out and back format, reaching the Lake Orion Community Schools Administration building before returning to the amphitheater.
All runners who cross the finish line receive an award. The event welcomes both runners and walkers and states that participants range from beginner to competitive. Race day registration and runner check in take place at the Wildwood Amphitheater.
Registration opened on 2026-01-13 and closed on 2026-02-27. The standard registration fee listed is $18.00. In person registration fee increases on race day to $25.00. Proceeds from the event are designated to benefit Orion Area Youth Assistance and their programming for youth.
