The 2026 DPF 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Anniston, Alabama (zip 36201). Course, entries and other details
The race uses a USATF certified 5K (3.1 mile) course on flat terrain that surrounds Zinn Park at 101 W. 14th Street in downtown Anniston. Shirt orders must be placed by May 31, 2026; shirts are not guaranteed after that date. Bibs must be visible on the front of each participant for chip reading and identification. The event offers a $100 prize for anyone who beats the current record time of 18:20 set in 2023; the prior record was 22:16 set in 2021. Registration pricing varies by period and age: pre-early bird $15, student (18 and under) $20, adult early bird $20, adult standard $25, and adult late $30.
