2026 DPF 5K RUN/WALK
The DPF 5K is an annual running and walking event held in Anniston, Alabama. The 2026 edition marks the sixth anniversary of this competition. The race takes place on a flat terrain, USATF certified course that surrounds Zinn Park, starting and finishing at 101 W 14th Street.

The race is organized by the Dee Pogue Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This foundation operates a youth mentorship program focused on S.T.E.M. education for African American boys ages 8 to 12. A portion of the proceeds from the registration fees is dedicated to assisting male high school seniors in Calhoun County, Alabama, with expenses related to pursuing college degrees.
Participants receive timing bibs that must be worn visibly between the neck and waist to ensure accurate chip reading and identification. Specific registration phases determine the entry fee, with options available for students aged 18 and under, as well as various early and standard registration periods for adults. Individuals who register by May 31, 2026, are eligible for an event shirt. Packet pickup and check-in services are provided on-site on the morning of the event at Zinn Park.
