Down Syndrome Festival & 5K
The Down Syndrome Festival & 5K takes place on September 26, 2026 at the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The event includes in-person and virtual 5K options, a 1 mile fun run, and an awareness walk that assembles at the start line on Sheridan Avenue. Registration and check-in are located on the Sheridan Lawn. Complimentary parking is available in the lots directly south of the Myriad Botanical Gardens, accessed on Reno Avenue.
Following the walk, festival activities occur on the Great Lawn and include raffles, inflatables, face painters, carnival games, music, talent shows, cotton candy, food trucks, and resource vendors. The event is free and open to the public. Teams may register to walk and raise funds to support the event and related programs.

Proceeds support DSACO and its local programs for people with Down syndrome. Programs funded include tutoring and enrichment services, cooking classes, new parent resources and meetings, workshops for families and educators, scholarship support for national conventions, outreach initiatives, and family and teen or adult programs.
