Double Play 5K

Double Play 5K is an event held in partnership with the St. Paul Saints on July 1, 2026 at CHS Field. The program includes a traditional 5K, a non-running 0K option that provides event swag and a game ticket, and kids races on the field. Each entry includes a ticket to the Saints vs. Buffalo Bisons game.

The 5K course starts near the ballpark and finishes on the warning track at CHS Field, with a game-side finish festival planned at the venue. The event offers a themed participant jersey and medal. Strollers are permitted in 5K distances with a required waiver and a special stroller bib; dogs are asked to remain outside the finish controlled zone.

Logistics include packet pick up options that allow one participant to collect another participant’s packet with authorization and the associated game ticket. Transfers to another person or to a different distance are allowed prior to June 15, 2026. Refunds are available within 48 hours of registration subject to the event policy. The event enforces a pace requirement for 5K participants; runners who finish too late may be diverted from entering the stadium. A 2026 course map is available and may be subject to change.
