Event overview
Salty's 5K & 10K Double Nubble takes place on May 3, 2026, at York Beach Ball Park in York Beach, ME (18 Railroad Avenue). The event includes three distances:
- 5K
- 10K (double loop)
- Children's 5K
The 5K is a single loop and the 10K follows the same loop twice. The course follows the shoreline and goes up and around the Nubble Lighthouse.
Organization, awards and extras
The race is produced by Salty Endurance Events, a nonprofit. All 2026 race proceeds will go to the York Education Foundation. Participants who register by February 1, 2026 are guaranteed a free race t-shirt. Overall prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers. Age-group awards are given to the top three finishers in standard age and gender categories, including 13 and under (children's 5K), 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.
