Salty's 5K & 10K Double Nubble
Salty Endurance Events presents a road race event in York Beach, Maine, held at 18 Railroad Avenue. The event features multiple distance options that follow a shoreline course around the Nubble Lighthouse.
- 5K - one loop around the Nubble Lighthouse
- 10K - two loops around the Nubble Lighthouse
- Children's 5K - one loop for participants 13 and under
The course follows the shoreline and uses a single loop for the 5K and a double loop for the 10K. The organizer is a nonprofit focused on community engagement and supporting local charities in the Seacoast Region. A free race t-shirt is guaranteed for participants who register by February 1, 2027.
Registration details vary by event. For the adult 5K and 10K registration opens May 4, 2026 and closes June 30, 2026; the children's 5K registration closes December 30, 2026. Posted registration fees are $35 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $25 for the children's 5K. Day of registration and on site bib pickup are available as described by the organizer.
Awards include prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers and top three finishers in multiple age and gender categories. Parking options are available near Short Sands and the ball park, with municipal lots, metered street parking, and a Park and Ride lot at Exit 7 in York.
