Salty's 5K & 10K Double Nubble is a road race held on May 3, 2026 at York Beach Ball Park in York Beach, ME (18 Railroad Avenue, York Beach, ME 03910). The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K (double loop of the 5K)
- Children's 5K
The 5K course is a single loop that follows the shoreline and goes around the Nubble Lighthouse. The 10K is the 5K course run twice. A course map is available from the organizer.
Organization, registration and awards
The race is organized by Salty Endurance Events, a nonprofit that describes its mission as promoting healthy living, community programs, and accessible running events. All race proceeds in 2026 will go to the York Education Foundation. Participants who register by February 1, 2026 are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
Awards include prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers and age-group awards for the top three finishers in listed age and gender categories, including a 13 and under division for the children's 5K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
