Salty's 5K and 10K Double Nubble
Salty's 5K and 10K Double Nubble is a road race event held in the seaside town of York, Maine. The course follows the shoreline and circles the Nubble Lighthouse. This event is organized by Salty Endurance Events, a nonprofit organization that focuses on community health and inclusivity within endurance sports.
The event offers three distinct registration options:
- Salty's 5K: A single loop around the Nubble Lighthouse.
- 10K Double Nubble: Two loops around the Nubble Lighthouse.
- Children's 5K: A single loop for participants aged 13 and under.
The race follows a route along the coast, with the start and finish located at 18 Railroad Avenue in York Beach. All race proceeds for the 2026 edition are dedicated to supporting the York Education Foundation, a local charitable organization in the Seacoast Region.
Participants who complete their registration by February 1, 2026, receive a race t-shirt. The event recognizes various achievements through an awards ceremony. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female overall finishers. Additionally, age group awards are provided for the top three finishers in several categories, ranging from 13 and under to 70 and older. Registration for the event includes options for bib pick-up on the Friday and Saturday prior to the race at locations in Portsmouth and York Beach, as well as on-site registration on the morning of the event.
