Dorney Triathlon - July
The Dorney Triathlon takes place at Dorney Lake in Windsor, an Olympic venue featuring a clear water lake and flat, scenic grounds. The event includes several multisport disciplines held on a course where the bike and run segments are entirely flat. All races are chip timed and operate under draft-illegal rules.
Participants can choose from various event formats, including full triathlons, relay options for teams of two or three people, and aquabike categories which consist only of the swim and bike legs. The competition is open to those seeking personal bests as well as individuals new to triathlon.
The available distances and categories include:
- Super Sprint Triathlon
- Sprint Triathlon (available as solo, relay, or aquabike)
- Standard Triathlon (available as solo, relay, or aquabike)
Participation requires a British Triathlon membership and a race licence. Athletes must either hold an annual Core or Ultimate membership or purchase a single-use Race Pass during the entry process. Wetsuit hire services are available for the event. The venue at Dorney Lake provides free parking for attendees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
