Donut Duathlon - Event overview
The Donut Duathlon takes place at Torbay Velopark on 15 March 2026. The course is flat and traffic free, beginning with a parkland run, followed by a ride on smooth tarmac and finishing with a shorter run. The organiser offers shorter distances for children aged 3 and above; parents may run alongside children under 8 and assist in transition. The event is non-drafting. Any roadworthy bike is permitted, including mountain bikes, hybrids, road bikes and TT/triathlon bikes. Medals and donuts are provided to all finishers.
Races and distances
- Sprint - 5 km run, 19.5 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Supersprint - 2.5 km run, 9 km bike, 1.25 km run
- TriStar 3 - 2.5 km run, 7.5 km bike, 1.25 km run
- TriStar 1 & 2 - 1.25 km run, 6 km bike, 625 m run
- TriStar Start and Mini - 625 m run, 1.5 km bike, 200 m run
Entry categories and logistics
Entry fees range from £17 to £40 depending on race. Age eligibility is specified per race: TriStar Start and Mini for ages 3–8, TriStar 1 & 2 for ages 9–12, TriStar 3 for ages 13–14, and some events open to entrants aged 15 and over. Car parking near the leisure centre uses postcode TQ4 5JR and requires payment by cash or mobile. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
