Event overview
The 12th Annual Donut Dash 5K takes place at Eagle Ridge Academy, 11111 Bren Rd. W, Minnetonka, MN 55343. The event includes a measured 5K course that starts and finishes at the school and is chip- and mat-timed. The organizers list on-course and post-race services such as chair massages, rock tape applications, DJ music, giveaways, youth activities, an obstacle course, post-race refreshments and snacks, and mini-donuts. Proceeds benefit Eagle Ridge Academy and Friends of Eagle Ridge Academy, a 501(c)(3) foundation that supports K-12 Classical Liberal Arts education.

All 5K registrants receive a 2026 Donut Dash tech shirt (tri-blend), post-race refreshments and snacks, and donuts. Mini-dash participants receive a 2026 Donut Dash shirt (50/50 poly/cotton), a participation medal, and a bag of mini-donuts.
Registration, packet pickup and other notes
The shirt order is placed on 4/3/2026, so registrations after 4/2/2026 are not guaranteed a shirt or preferred size. Listed entry fees vary by category and registration date (student/alumni and adult tiers are shown on the event page). Packet pick-up is available Friday, May 8 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Eagle Ridge Academy, or on race day beginning at 7:15 a.m. The event requests more than 100 volunteers; volunteer sign-up is scheduled to open in late January.
