Event Overview

The Donut Dash is a 5 km fun walk and run event organized by the NH Sneaker Brigade, a New Hampshire-based nonprofit wellness group. This is the fifth edition of the event, described as a "Special Spooky Dash" on its date.

Course Details

The start line is on Robert Easter Way at the Arrowhead Recreational Area in Claremont. The course uses a dirt rail trail, which could be muddy or sandy. A water station is located approximately halfway along the route. Donuts are provided at the finish line.

Participation

The event features separate starts for walkers and runners. Chip timing is provided for runners, while walkers receive clock timing. Service dogs that are leashed and well-behaved are permitted, and participants with dogs start at the back of their respective category. Strollers are welcome, but participants should note the trail surface.

Registration

Pricing follows an early-bird structure:

  • Before April 1, 2026: $17 for runners, $15 for walkers and participants under 16.
  • April 1 to September 7, 2026: $20 for runners, $17 for walkers and participants under 16.
  • September 8 to October 25, 2026: $25 for runners, $20 for walkers and participants under 16.

Online registration closes on October 25, 2026. Day-of registration is $30 for all age groups and is open from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. Payment methods include cash or Zeffy. A virtual option is available for $20 to cover shipping.

Additional Information

The event has a fundraising goal. Participants can earn an extra raffle ticket by donating a non-perishable, non-expired food item. T-shirts and other merchandise are available for separate purchase.
