The course follows a dirt rail trail and may include mud, sand, or uneven terrain depending on weather. A water stop is located approximately halfway through the course. Fresh donuts are available at the finish line for participants.
Registration opened June 9, 2026 and registration fees vary by category. Example fees listed for the event include $25 for chip timed runners and $20 for walkers and virtual participants. A foundation grant has made some free and discounted registrations available for this anniversary event.
Awards are presented by male and female divisions across age groups from Under 11 through 70 plus, with additional special award categories. Team prizes include a trophy for the largest business team and prizes for the largest recreational team. Volunteers can receive free entry as a course sweeper and a 50 percent discount on next year s registration.
Leashed, well socialized dogs may participate and must start from the back of their group. Strollers are welcome but the rail trail surface may be bumpy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
