Donut Dash - Claremont
The Donut Dash is a 5K community event organized by the NH Sneaker Brigade in Claremont, New Hampshire at Robert Easter Way near the Arrowhead Recreational Area. The event marks the group's fifth anniversary and includes in person run and walk options plus a virtual participant option.
Registration fees vary by category. Listed fees include $25 for chip timed runners, $20 for youth runners and walkers, and $20 for virtual participants which includes shipping. Race day registration is available for a $30 fee. A grant from the Claremont Savings Bank Foundation funds a series of anniversary discounts and free entries, including free registration for the first five signups, 50 percent off for the next 50, and 25 percent off for the next 25; processing fees apply.
Course and participant details: the route follows a dirt rail trail and may include mud, sand, or uneven sections depending on weather. A water stop is located approximately halfway through the course. Fresh donuts are provided at the finish for participants. Well behaved leashed dogs may participate but must start at the back of their group and owners should clean up after them. Strollers are allowed though the trail may be bumpy.
Awards and programs include male and female age group awards from under 11 through 70 plus, team awards including a trophy for the largest business team, and additional special categories.
