Donut Dash - NH Sneaker Brigade
The Donut Dash is a 5 km fun walk and run held in Claremont, New Hampshire. The course starts on Robert Easter Way at Arrowhead Recreational Area and follows a dirt rail trail. Because the surface can be muddy or sandy, strollers may encounter uneven footing. A water stop is located about halfway along the route and limited cups will be available there, so participants are asked to bring their own drink container.
Runners receive chip timing while walkers are timed with a clock. Youth under 16 register as runners. A virtual entry option is offered. Donuts are available at the finish and event t shirts and other swag can be purchased separately. Payments are accepted by cash or Zeffy, and virtual entries include a shipping fee.
The event includes team and volunteer programs. A trophy is awarded to the largest business team and prizes are given to the largest recreational team. Volunteers may receive reduced entry or free entry for the following year for certain roles. Non perishable food donations earn additional raffle tickets. The event is organized by the NH Sneaker Brigade, a New Hampshire nonprofit group formed in 2020 that describes itself as a wellness group for adults aged 18 and up and operates as a private Facebook group.
