About the race
The Donut Dash in Claremont, New Hampshire is a community event organized by the NH Sneaker Brigade on 10/23/2027 at Robert Easter Way and the Arrowhead Recreational Area. The primary distance offered is 5K, with in-person run and walk formats plus a virtual participation option.
The course follows a dirt rail trail and may include mud, sand, or uneven terrain depending on weather. A water stop is located approximately halfway through the route. Fresh donuts will be available at the finish for participants.
Registration includes a range of discounted and free entries funded by a grant from the Claremont Savings Bank Foundation; the organizer also offers tiered anniversary discounts while supplies last. Race day registration is offered for an additional fee. Event apparel and other merchandise are available for purchase.
Awards are presented in male and female divisions across multiple age groups, beginning with ages 6 to 10 and extending through older age categories. Additional team trophies and special award categories are part of the program. Well-behaved, leashed dogs may participate but must start at the back of their group. Strollers are allowed though the rail trail surface may be bumpy.
Volunteers receive perks including free entry for the official course sweeper position and a 50% discount on next year’s registration for other volunteer roles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
