Event Overview
The 14th Annual Donut Dash 5K in Thibodaux offers two event options: a standard 5K Run/Walk and a 5K Donut Dash. Both events start and finish at the Recreation Center on the campus of Nicholls State University. The entry fee for either event is $25, though a race shirt is not guaranteed for registrations after March 28.
Event Details
For participants in the 5K Donut Dash, there is a unique challenge at the halfway point (1.55 miles). Runners must eat four donuts before they are allowed to continue the race.
Beneficiaries and Awards
Proceeds from the event are split equally between the Schriever Lions Club and the Thibodaux Lions Club. Awards are given for the top three overall male and female finishers in both the standard 5K and the Donut Dash.
