Spooky Sprint St. Paul
Spooky Sprint St. Paul is a Halloween themed running event at Phalen Lakeside Activity Center in St Paul, MN. The event offers in-person races and a virtual option, with chip timing, live results, awards, free photos, and treats at the finish area.
Race entries include event-specific packet items. The Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile each include a custom bib, designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The Kids Dash includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a kids dash medal; children may run the kids dash without receiving swag. Virtual race packets will ship the Wednesday following the live event. The Volunteer then Run option asks volunteers to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup and permits running any distance afterward. The Running Buddy Half Marathon requires prior application and approval.
Registration opens for many events beginning 2025-10-04. Some events close earlier in 2026, for example half marathon entries close 2026-04-14 and the 5K and 10K close 2026-07-07, while other entries remain available through 2026-10-10. Published entry fees vary by event, for example Kids Dash and youth 5K/10K pricing is $17, standard 5K and 10K fees are $32, 1 Mile is $22, half marathon is $55, and the virtual option is $42.
