Donora 125th 5K Run/Walk
The Donora 125th 5K Run/Walk is an athletic event held in Pennsylvania to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Donora borough. The event features a 5k distance available for both runners and walkers. Registration and check-in procedures take place at the Roll R Way Skating Center on Galiffa Drive.
Participants who complete their registration by the early deadline of April 10, 2026, receive a guaranteed t-shirt. While pre-registration is encouraged, late registration is also available on the day of the event until shortly before the start.
The event includes a competitive element with awards presented to the top three overall male and female finishers in various categories. Recognition is provided for both runners and walkers across multiple age groups, including:
- 0-10, 11-15, 16-19, 20-24, and 25-29
- 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, and 60+
Following the conclusion of the race, activities move to the Donora Borough Hall on Meldon Avenue. This portion of the event includes a luncheon and an awards ceremony. The gathering also serves as a community celebration for Donora's 125th birthday, bringing participants together after the 5k course is completed.
