Doncaster CITY Half Marathon - Doncaster Dome
The Doncaster CITY Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday 30 May 2027 with the event base at Doncaster Dome, Bawtry Road, Doncaster, UK. The race is organised by Curly's Athletes, a community and charity focused event management team.
The event returned to Doncaster in 2019 after a 20 year absence. The 2020 and 2021 editions were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and rescheduled for 12 June 2022, when organisers changed the event format. Organisers report positive feedback from the 2022 event and note that broader pandemic impacts affected subsequent editions before the planned 2027 return.
The race is a half marathon and is presented as fully UKA licensed and chip timed, with closed roads for the route. Organisers list live aid stations, a support team and large volunteer presence along the course. They also note spectator support on the route and that all finishers receive a medal, cake and free event photos.
