Doncaster City Half Marathon 2027
The Doncaster City Half Marathon is scheduled for 30 May 2027 and is organised for up to 2000 runners. The event is a Half Marathon Road Run and entry fees are listed at £38 to £40, with a £2 discount for UKA members.
The event is fully UKA licensed, chip timed and held on closed roads. The organiser describes the course as offering the possibility of a fast run while also presenting some challenges, with cheering spectators along the route. On-course provisions include lively aid stations, a support team and a large volunteer presence.
Facilities for finishers include a medal, cake and free event photos. The event returned to Doncaster in 2019 after a 20 year absence and was postponed in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus until a revised event in June 2022. The 2022 edition was redesigned and received positive feedback from runners, the community and volunteers.
