Dogwood Dash - Union KY
The Dogwood Dash is a community race day held at the Boone County Arboretum in Union, KY on April 25, 2026. The main course is a scenic loop of 3.1 miles on paved trails through the arboretum. Event options include a 5K Run/Walk with or without a shirt and a Kids Fun Run for children age 7 and under.
Packet pick up and registration are available on Friday, April 24 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Tri-State Running (Florence location) and on race morning beginning at 7:30 am at the Boone County Arboretum, 9190 Camp Ernst Road. Entry fees for the 5K are listed for pre-registration and race day, and separate pre-registration fees apply to the kids run with a shirt option.
5K runners and walkers register into age categories for awards. Walkers must walk the entire distance; participants who plan to run any portion must register as runners. Awards are given to the top two overall male and female runners and walkers and to the top two in each age division. Following the race there will be refreshments, awards, and participant door prizes. Official race results will be posted online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
